Jeumont Electric signs MoU with the University of Adelaide, Australia

11 September 2017

On June 19, 2017, Jeumont Electric CEO Brahim Ammar and University of Adelaide (Australia) Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research Julie Owens and Deputy Vice-Chancellor & Vice-President Pascale Quester signed a Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of their respective organizations to engage in mutually-beneficial teaching and research activities in the field of electric machinery.

The MoU was signed at the end of a day-long meeting to determine the scope of the new research and innovation partnership, which will focus on ship propulsion systems as well as industrial applications.

Jeumont Electric and the University of Adelaide have laid the cornerstone for long-term cooperation between France and Australia—a major benefit in terms of the Australian Navy’s SEA 1000 submarine program.
