In August 2019 Jeumont Electric was selected by a cement plant in Zambia to replace a 1,250 kW high-voltage asynchronous electric motor to power a fan used in the cement manufacturing process.

The plant is located in close proximity to both Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
