Nizhnekamskneftekhim, also known as NKNK, is one of Europe’s largest petrochemical companies. The company recently ordered eleven asynchronous motors from Jeumont Electric.
The motors will power a variety of pumps at a new 495 MW combined-cycle thermal power station located southeast of the city of Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Turkish construction engineering giant ENKA will work with a German corporation specializing in energy, construction, and industrial projects to build a turnkey power station made up of two gas turbines and two heat-recovery steam generators. The power station is expected to be commissioned by 2021.
