New contract with KSB

Last May, JEUMONT Electric received an order for 11 asynchronous machines from KSB for Russia. One month later and some kilometers away from Russia, in the United Arab Emirates, KSB renews its trust in Jeumont Electric for the supply of 3 vertical motors, 16 poles, 3415 Kw for the development of a new combined cycle power plant powered by natural gas with capacity of up to 1GW located on Al Layyah site, in the Emirate of Sharjah (UAE).
This order is the result of many interactions that JEUMONT Electric has managed which involved different actors on various levels.
SEWA (Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority) Awarded the $ 550 Million Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract for Al Layyah Gas-Fired Plant to Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Consortium (MHPS) and Elsewedy Electric, in March 2019.
MHPS will supply the turbine units for the power plant under the EPC contract, while Elsewedy Electric will be responsible for the site preparation.
Combined cycle plants require 4 sets of motor pump units: CWP (circulating water pump), BFP (boiler feed pump), CEP (condensate extraction pump), ACWP (auxiliary circulating water pump).
