JEUMONT Electric continues its collaboration with Chantiers de l’Atlantique by delivering five JEGSY 160 (JEUMONT Electric Synchronous Generator) alternators with a power rating of 18,300 kVA for the World America, the second cruise ship in the Worldclass series, ordered by MSC Cruises.

This achievement highlights our ability to design and deliver complex solutions for very large commercial marine vessels. Each alternator took between 12 and 18 months to manufacture, drawing on the expertise of our teams across the entire value chain: design, manufacturing, quality control, testing and logistics.

This project is not a first: it is part of a long-standing relationship of trust with Chantiers de l’Atlantique. JEUMONT Electric has already been involved in equipping many iconic ships:

• 7 MSC ships (30 alternators and 20 engines)
• 5 RCCL – Royal Caribbean Group ships (25 alternators)
• 3 FLOTLOG ships for the French Navy (12 alternators and 3 engines)
