Decarbonisation: a main challenge for Jeumont Electric
10 August 2022
Decarbonisation: a main challenge for Jeumont Electric, a transition to renewable energies. Jeumont Electric is a partner in the new European SHYPS (Sustainable HYdrogen Powered Shipping) project, launched on June 1, 2022.
The SHYPS project aims to support the decarbonisation of the shipping industry, building on previous work and investments and being carried out by certain members of the consortium. It will develop a hydrogen-based solution, which can be adapted to several types of ships and, in some cases, can already meet the IMO (international maritime organization) target for 2030 and 2050.
