JEUMONT ELECTRIC CONTINUES TO CONTRIBUTE TO FRENCH NAVAL SOVEREIGNTY !

10 July 2025

After equipping the Jacques-Chevalier, the first force supply vessel in the FLOTLOG programme, JEUMONT Electric is continuing its commitment alongside Chantiers de l’Atlantique by delivering a set of four alternators and a 2,500 kW motor for the transverse bow thruster to the Jacques-Stosskopf, the second unit in the programme. The Jacques-Stosskopf is part of the French Navy’s plan to modernise its logistical capabilities.

Each piece of equipment took between 12 and 18 months to manufacture, drawing on JEUMONT Electric’s expertise at every stage: design, manufacturing, testing, quality control and logistics.

This delivery illustrates the industrial collaboration between JEUMONT Electric and Chantiers de l’Atlantique, which has resulted in numerous iconic projects in the civil and military naval sector:

– 7 MSC ships (30 alternators, 20 engines)

– 5 RCCL ships – Royal Caribbean Group (25 alternators)

– 3 FLOTLOG ships – French Navy (12 alternators, 3 engines)With this contribution, JEUMONT Electric confirms its role as a key industrial partner in the naval sector, a player in the decarbonisation of the world’s navies and a supporter of French energy and strategic sovereignty.
